Freedom's Promise is an organization started by a friend of mine. It is her passion to help women and children in Cambodia escape slavery and human trafficking and she is pursuing her goal.

"Freedom's Promise is dedicated to rescuing women and children affected by the human trafficking trade. Within our own community and abroad we walk out life with those rescued from bondage, restoring them to freedom and hope."
"Human trafficking is one of the largest criminal industries in the world, second only to drug dealing. Unfortunately it is also the fastest growing. It is a worldwide phenomenon, paradoxically hidden in the shadows and out in the open for all to see. Poverty, ignorance, superstition, social customs, greed, government corruption, and human cruelty combine to put families, particularly women and children, at risk. Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to enslave a person."
