Menu Planning

I have had a really rough time menu planning recently. As a result, I buy random things at the store that don't relate to meals and I spend a lot doing it. Another result is that we eat out a lot. It's so frustrating to be in a slump like this! Seems like just a couple weeks ago that we were fine and then all the sudden it changed. I am wondering if it has to do with the weather being nice and us working in the yard which has taken up a lot of time...But no excuses, I have to do better. Today I made a list of all the food we have in the house. I made a menu based off of the lists and this week only had to supplement by buying a few items.

Breakfasts
T: breakfast burrito+cereal (J) bran muffin (R)
W: oatmeal (J) bran muffin (R)
TR: cereal (J) granola w/ yogurt (R)
F: waffles
S: waffles
S: waffles

Lunches
T: cheese sandwich + salad
W: hamburger + roll & fries
TR: tuna melt + salad
F: tomato soup + grilled cheese
S: nippy garbanzo bean spread + pita chips (more with less p. 308)
S: corn on cob, green beans, spring trio quiche (asparagus filling & crumb crust)

Dinners
T: honey baked lentils (simply in season)
W: hamburger + roll & fries
TR: tuna melt + salad
F: tomato soup + grilled cheese
S: nippy garbanzo bean spread + pita chips (more with less p. 308)
S: corn on cob, green beans, spring trio quiche (asparagus filling & crumb crust)
