Hooked on Houses Home Tour

Okay. I already posted a house for the Home Tour that Julia is having on her blog but I had to do this one too. When I searched for it at first I couldn't find it but I LOVE it! After looking a second time, I found it.

This house in a historic neighborhood too although not as well known. I personally like it because it's just down the street from the highschool I attended. This house is across the street from "Holiday Park" which is in the old part of Topeka.

Here's the description is gives on the website:
Historic Holiday Park are 5BR, 3BA as perfect as can be. Gleaming hardwood floors, 10ft ceilings, orginal woodwork. French doors into dining room and study, open and completely renovated kitchen. Attic space has been all recently refinished with modern finish and wired for a theater room. New water heater (06), new AC/furnaces (04), and new storm windows (06).

Address: 1218 SW Taylor ST, Topeka
List Price: $169,700
Year Built: 1910
Square Footage: 3389
Bedrooms: 5
Full Baths: 3 Garage: Two
Basement: Yes

I don't know what it is about this house that I love, but I just do. Maybe it's the features like the fireplace, tall ceilings and kitchen remodel. Some people might think that the kitchen doesn't fit into this house, but I just love the look. What do you think?

Look at that staircase! And the master bath is HUGE. I can't believe the house is so inexpensive. And it's got lots of square footage, too. I'm tempted to buy it myself and move!

Hey, Reagan, I'm going to link to your first post and then let you link to the second for your readers. It's easier for me that way to only have one link to each site (lots of people are doing multiple posts like you did). Thanks!! -Julia :-)

I do like this house. I would love a 5 bedroom house. I love the bathroom and the fireplace in the master bedroom. It is fun to look.
