Hooked on Houses Home Tour

Julia at Hooked on Houses is hosting her own house tour party on her blog today and I decided to participate!
Be sure to visit the other post I did on another great house. Click Here.

The house I've chosen to tour is in a historic neighborhood called Potwin. Most of the houses in this neighborhood are Victorian style and the kind most of us dream about living in when we get older (that age time frame is debatable!) :)

Here's the description they have on the website:

Reminiscent of years gone by when evenings were spent on the porchswing visiting with passersby. This past Designer Showhome & '02 Historic Preservation Award vintage victorian in historic Potwin was renovated completely in '02. Includes: granite, slate, cherry kitchen & cherry master "spa-style" bath, butler's pantry (the list goes on). Yet the remodel was in keeping with the period with original woodwork, moldings, staircases, hardware, fixtures & ornate designs of a century past.

List Price: $249,997
Address: 333 SW Greenwood Topeka, KS
Year Built: 1887
Square Footage: 3632
Bedrooms: 4
Bathrooms: 2.5
Garage: 2
Basement: Yes

Oh, wow! I love this house. I was oohing and ahhing all the way through it, but the porch put me over the edge. I'm a sucker for a good porch. Thanks for joining the blog party and showing it to us! -Julia

Stunningly beautiful. In my neck-of-the-woods a home like that would be priced at a million dollars. It's true what they say-- location, location, location.

Love it, love it, love it! Especially the bay windows and porch on an angle. It looks like it has been nicely updated as well. I hope it finds a buyer that will take good care of it!

Hi, Reagan! I'm just going around, making sure everyone's links are working properly. Don't forget to tell people to visit your other house tour here (go to her home page, everybody, and you'll see another one!).

Then can you add a link back to my main blog party page so people can easily hop back over there when they're finished reading yours? Here's the link:
